HELLO ENGLISH PICTURE DICTIONARY 2014 ✦ CG, Wacom, ink, marker, colored pencil, photography ✦ education book design    I took charge of a very big project as part of my English teaching job in Japan - the Hello English Picture Dictionary. For this 48 page elementary-school-level study & activity book, I made full-color and black & white versions, as well as a full set of 300+ flash cards, and a phonics Powerpoint with pronunciation practice sounds. I was the editor, and handled all of the design and about 70% of the illustration. I was helped on illustrations by two very talented fellow assistant language teachers. It was a tremendous amount of work - over 300 hrs, much of it in my own free time - but it proved very handy to use while teaching classes, and I was happy to see the materials help my fellow teachers.
