"LIVINGSTONE" LETTERING

Livingstone was an intriguing series to work on, and
offered me some unique lettering opportunities. As with most of my books, I
opted to subtitle the sound effects, rather than replace them, and since the
artist (Jinsei Kataoka), has such a loose and animated style to his sfx, I
did my best to match that feeling. Livingston also has a lot of document
text (business cards, plane tickets, paperwork), as well as various screens,
so I got to be creative with lettering those elements. |
