do photography, illustration, and comic books. I particularly like to
combine my photography and illustration together into a hybrid of
sorts... I also occasionally like to make music & design clothing.

PHOTOGRAPHY
Proficiency with the following camera types: digital & film 35mm
SLR, digital Hasselblad medium format, film 4x5 view camera. Operation
of strobe kits (Profoto, Broncolor, Norman, Speedotron, Visatec, and
Dynalite) and tungsten lights. Operation of Chimera rail-mounted
overhead light bank. Operation and cleaning of Hope C-41 roller
transport print processor. Operation and cleaning of Jobo C-41 tank and
reel processor. Experience with alternative processes: Van Dyke brown,
Kodalith, Cyanotype, etc. Hand-processing of T-Max film and 4x5 sheet
film, stop-motion animation.
GEAR
Canon 30D (D-SLR), Sigma 10-20mm 1.4 wide angle, Canon 28-135mm,
Canon Speedlite 480EX II, Canon SX30 IS (digital prosumer), Pentax ZX-M
(film SLR), Profoto 1200 strobe pack w/ three heads, softbox, umbrellas,
grids, beauty dish (soft light reflector), Smith-Victor tungsten lights.
SOFTWARE
Adobe Photoshop, Corel Photopaint, Adobe
Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Expression, Microsoft Front Page,
Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Powerpoint, Sony Soundforge,
Goldwave, Ableton Live, some experience in Flash.
LANGUAGE
Native English speaker. Intermediate Japanese ability.
1998 - 2004 UNIVERSITY OF TOLEDO, Toledo OH:
BA (major: Art w/ emphasis on photography. minor: Japanese) Two summer
study abroad programs to Japan with internships at Kakamigahara city
hall and at two elementary schools.
